Place Setting for Denmark State Dinner

This photograph is of a place setting and floral arrangements for the State Dinner held in honor of King Frederick IX of Denmark on October 11, 1960 during the Dwight D. Eisenhower administration. The place settings featured china from the Eisenhower State Service and glassware from the Franklin D. Roosevelt administration. The tables were decorated with vermeil candelabrum and flower arrangements featuring orchids and chrysanthemums.
